Updating User Settings and Permissions
We’ve updated user settings to give admin easier controls over the account features users have access to. For BellesLink customers with more than one user, these new settings make account management easier.
Users Page for Admins
Admins can control access to purchases, call recording, and caller IDs for all users in their customer account on the Users page. Go to Setup on the main menu, then Account, then Users.
On this page you’ll see a list of all the user in the customer account. You can view the subscription plan details for each user, change the plan, deactivate their account, and change user permissions. Use the Permissions link to view the options.
User Permissions
Using the check boxes, admins can turn on or off access to account features. Save your changes to make the new permissions active.
Allow to make purchases
This allows the user to make purchases, such as call minutes, texts, and searches. Purchases will be charged to the payment method attached to the customer account. This permission setting does not prevent or enable the purchase of batch searches.
Allow to Record Calls
This allows user to turn call recording on for individual calls they make or receive.
Record All Calls
This will turn on call recording for all inbound and outbound calls the user receives or makes.
Allow Caller ID Changes
This will allow users to change the caller ID of the phone numbers in their account. This is done on the Numbers page by editing a phone number.
User Settings Page
The same user permissions can be accessed within individual user accounts on the User Settings page. Go to Setup on the main menu, then User, then Settings. Use the check boxes to turn on or off access to account features. Save your changes to make the new permissions active.
